Investment 100 - Spend or Save : Lace Theory

Lace is a huge trend this year and has been popping up everywhere.  I like that these shirts take lace to a different level; they go beyond the classic dainty patterns with modest colours and add in a flush of bright neon.  Both shirts would work as great statement pieces in an outfit and could be dressed up or down. 

With a massive price difference, what do you think, would you spend or save?

Outfitting 100 - Everyday Style: Canadian Tuxedo

Growing up in a city and family with a huge western influence cowgirl boots become a necessity in your closet. I own way to many pairs in many different styles and just can't seem to stop buying them.  The instant I saw these Ariat boots I fell in love with them and couldn't resist adding them to my collection of boots. So what better way to wear them than with a good ol' laid back Canadian tuxedo.

Investment 100 - Spend or Save: Shoe Theory

When I first saw these shoes pop up at Anthropologie I immediately wanted them; they are so unique, come in a gorgeous colour and they aren't sky high. Upon researching further I found a very, and I mean very, similar pair at Ruche for under half the price. This brought me to ask myself which to buy, the ones I originally fell for or the very similar pair at a fraction of the price.

Outfitting 100 - Everyday Style: Black and White

I absolutely love the black and white trend for the spring and summer this year. There is something so chic about two colours working in unison with each other. The first time I saw these jeans I instantly fell for them. They not only incorporate the b&w trend but also have a tuxedo stripe on them making them wearable dressed up or down and there is nothing better than multi-functional items in your closet.

Inspiration 100 - Street Style: Simplistic Outfitting

Miranda Kerr always looks so effortlessly put-together. Her outfits, while almost always simple, still look extremely chic.  I love how emerald shirt is the focal point of the outfit and is paired with a simple dark wash jean. The over-sized bag and sunglasses go perfectly and the gold details on the watch and shoes tie everything together for a luxurious but simple feel.

Investment 100 - Spend or Save: Shoe Theory

I am in love with Charlotte Olympia; the shoes are absolutely stunning spectacular works of art! I wonder though, as a student for a black and gold shoe is it worth the nearly 10 times price point of a very similar and comparable shoe from Zara. Both shoes are stunning, would look great as focal points to an outfit both dressed up or dressed down and could be worn for years to come.
